This bread made excellent sandwich bread, although I would like a higher wheat content.
Light Whole Wheat Bread
Adapted from The Bread Lover's Bread Machine Cookbook
Makes a 2 lb loaf
1 1/3 cups water
1 large egg
2 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 1/4 cups bread flour
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
4 tbsp dry buttermilk powder
2 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp + 1 tsp vital wheat gluten
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp bread machine yeast
Place ingredients in bread machine pan in order listed. Set machine for basic cycle.
